About
This is a Drupal module that integrates InstantClick, a library that pre-loads links on hover, taking anywhere from 250-500+ ms off the perceived page load time for end users. It is currently in an alpha state. At this point it is mostly suitable only for testing/review by developers, but could also be used on non mission-critical sites or simpler sites once you've ensured that all functionality you care about is in fact working.
Caveats
There is no free lunch, bad side effects include:
- will increase load on your server
- may break google analytics, along with any other javascript that explicitly depends on DOMContentLoaded.
