I spent some time trying to upgrade this module to 4.7. I've managed to get done most of the forms API bits except for the hard part - the tree presentation of the files to be imported. I'm not sure if I will do any more work on this since I may use another method to import existing content, but I figured I'd upload my patch. Hope it helps.

dman commentedWorth a crack. I too can§t imagine how to get the treeview via forms API.
May have to just build by hand, I think the listings are heavy enough without the overhead that the API would bring in.
I'm off line and all so can't check this version. Do you not do the file select at all, or is it rendered the old way?

oliver soell commentedit's rendered the old way, but then hangs on submit (either exhausting all memory or exceeding the maximum execution time)..

creatorsdream commentedIs there any more being done to port this great module over to 4.7? I know I used it on 4.6 to transfer a couple of thousand documents and it worked great. Now I have a few hundred more static html files I would like to import but I'm running 4.7.

dman commentedSorry, was away from the keyboard for a month, then had the machine in the shop for a further 2 weeks.
May revisit it soon, anyone can have a crack - it WILL require a large rewrite in places.
dman commentedOK, the CVS is now 4.7 compatable, but may need testing, I found a few subtle mysteries in the way 4.7 works inside. (aliasing is cached, node_submit() doesn't save)
I went through it with a code beautifier, and changed a few trivial code style conventions, so the file registers as about 80% altered.
Thanks to oliver soell for the contribution. I just wish I'd remembered to merge the patch BEFORE the reformat. :-/ Doh!
I'm now hoping to follow the development of the proposed import/export api to see if this can be merged.

('fixed' may be premature, but there's no 'testing' status)
