Hello,
We are trying to create a comic book style template for a website. Basically what we want to do is have a page that displays the large comic book image, with thumbnails below, with the ability to limit the number of thumbnails below. Some comic book pages have 100 images.
For the large comic book image, when you click on it, it should link to the next imagefield that is attached to that node.
Would anyone be interested in helping out with this? We could pay for your time. We have already tried using the views slideshow module to do this with no success. The problem with the views slideshow is that when you limit it's view to only display 5 items per page, you cannot have it automatically load the next set of images when you click on the last large image. Basically, the views slideshow module's javascript cannot work with the pagers to automatically flip to the next set of images.
From my understanding we would need someone that can program a custom template for CCK that would achieve this type of functionality.
I have attached an image of what we are looking to do...

quicksketchWell you've got a lot of choices for this. See these comparison pages:

wrender commentedThanks for the response. I have looked through those slideshow modules and I don't think any of them will achieve what I have described above.

quicksketchHm, well then your options are custom theming or another new module. What you're describing is essentially all content within a single node. You could do this by putting custom Javascript/HTML in your node-[type].tpl.php file in your theme, and do whatever you'd like in there.

wrender commentedhi quicksketch. Do you know where I could find someone that would know how to do this? I know drupal and css and html, but creating a custom template to do something like this is over my skill level.
