First of all, I tested the new version(02/09/2006) and works flawlessy (I'll make further testing the next days).
Thanks a lot! I was waiting to have this working ...

then a minor issue I found(could be not releaed to this module):
with a fresh drupal installation I activated CCK and imagefield module, setted up a custom content type and created a test post. I had an error (see screenshot) due (I think) to the fact that the 'files' directory on drupal root wasn't created (since I didn't visit the settings page (that I think create the files directory and the htaccess file inside it on first opening.)
I know, this doesn't depend from the module and I think is hard to encounter (since everybody will go to the settings page as a first step with a new site) but maybe in case the files directory doesn't exist we can warn the user.

Anyway, I really appreciate the work done with this module. Keep on... and thanks again.

Title: image not uploaded » image not uploaded when files directory doesn't exist

I'm not going to waste the overhead/resources to check if the drupal files directory exists. User will need to properly configure their sites for modules to work.
