I'm having a problem getting imagefield going on my system.

It's not appearing in CCK. That is, the "Image" selector doesn't show up in the CCK filefield dropdown box, even though I've installed and configured the following modules: imagefield, imageapi, imageAPI GD2 modules, imagecache, and imagecache ul.

Prior to my installation, I had installed Image and Image Attach on my system. I had thought that the disappearing file field might have to do with Image taking up the image file field name space.

So, I

  • deleted all of my image nodes
  • deselected and uninstalled image and image attach
  • uninstalled all of the modules in my image/image cache/imageapi installation
  • flushed my CMS caches
  • reinstalled/reconfigured my image/image cache/imageapi modules

Result: same thing. No image file field in CCK.

Here are my system specs.

1. CCK version: 6.x-2.6
2. imagefield version: 6.x-3.3
3. permissions for your tmp and files directory: Public
4. download method (public or private files): Public
5. imagefield configuration: none .... imagefield mission
6. expected results: imagefield should show as a CCK file field
7. the unexpected actual results: no image field appears in CCK when creating a new content type
8. Steps to reproduce the problem

  • install imageapi, imagecache, imagecache ul, imagefield, imageAPI GD2 modules
  • set imageapi to 100% for jpg
  • set ImageAPI GD2 toolkit to 100% for jpg
  • create three presets for Imagecache
  • create a new Photo content type
  • add new field, select new field from "Type of data to store" dropdown

Unexpected result: no Image filefield in CCK.

Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

My best,

Stan

Under "system specs: I meant to write:

  • imagefield configuration: none .... imagefield missing

Sorry. I figured it out.

I only had to select "file" from the dropdown box and the "image" from the associated selector box.

Issued resolved.
