I have an odd problem. I recently upgraded my server and installed the PDO extension so that I could install Drupal 7 in a separate place on my server. On my original D6 site, I can no longer upload images for my content types, but I can still upload images if I enable attaching images. All images still appear normally on the site, but when I create/edit content, the field for uploading new images is not there, and I can not see any uploaded images on the edit screen. I attached a picture of what I see when I edit a node that currently has pictures attached. When I create a new node, the field is just not there at all. I tried adding a new imagefield and it does the same thing. I am not sure if it was upgrading my server, but it was after do such that I first noticed the problem. I tried uninstalling the extension, and I still have the problem. I have also tried restarting my server and clearing all caches.

Any ideas what this could be or what might fix it?

This could be a problem with your theme, but I'm not sure what could be the cause of such a problem as I haven't ever seen a similar situation.

Switching back to Garland provides the same results. Could there be a problem with the database that could cause it?

Well, I just installed a test install of drupal with just cck, filefield and imagefield and it seems to work ok, so I can at least confirm that there is no problem with my server. However, both my production site, and my test site still have the same problem. As a test, I copied all of my modules over to my new working test site, and then copied my current database over, and it replicated the same results, leading me to believe that it is a problem in the database, though I am not sure what it might be...

Wow, interesting. I guess when I updated my server, I must have updated the version of PHP, which caused the same error as in #581074: Widget does not show up. (PHP 5.3.0). I was not seeing the error printed on screen, but that is what was causing it.
