I've changed over the 4.7 cck and 4.7 in order to get some stability when creating content but it seems that the imagefield is not retaining the image data - i can't get anything to upload in the imagefields.

I get a message saying the image has been resized (<- has been set to 250x175 in the field settings) and then i get another message underneath saying the field is required. No errors come up in my watchdog.

I've checked my database fields and the information is not being saved - i think there was a similar issue for an earlier cvs version, any chance its a simple patch?

****Update****

I've just found out that i can upload them into an imagefield after a node has been submitted but not during node creation, which is ok for the meantime but not ideal for users
