I have a cck content type that i defined to have a node (type A) reference to another node (type B) which has a cck imagefield. In my node template for type B i can call $node->field_image[0]['view'] and display the image using the image cache preset i defined in my display setup for the field. However if i load the node of type B from my node of type A (using the nid from the node reference field) i get the node object for the referenced node ( type B) however the "view" field in the field_image array is no longer there... I am assuming something needs to be called on this node i loaded by calling node_load() in order for it populate the rendered views for the fields?

Any ideas?

Figured it out fir my needs. I used the theme('imagecache') function to render the image passing the filepath which was available .

Can you please post a code snippet illustrating this?

I would like to call a few imagefield fields to a node add form, and add them via a node.tpl.php page. That's so the user will see a picture of the item he/she is creating the node in reference to.

Examples please!
