Best guess for Imagefield 2.0 release?

Hi!

I've noticed that dopry has been working hard on Imagefield 2.0 lately. The 8th release candidate for Imagefield 2.0 just got out.

I'm about to implement some imagefield related stuff on my site and I'd like to ask what is your best guess when Imagefield 2.0 will be released? Are we talking about days, weeks or months? Is updating from the officially recommended version 5.x-1.2-rc1 to 5.x-2.0 expected to be easy?

I totally understand that we are talking about an open source project and that that the developers may be doing this on their own time. My question above is not meant to push you guys to give an exact deadline for the release - I'm totally fine with your best guess like "all major known issues are fixed in RC8 but it is likely that we will release RC9 before the official release".

I'm about to install RC8 on my development environment anyway. I might be able to help you guys a little by testing the module during the next couple of days. Are there some features or parts that need special attention?
