Am I the only one who has this problem? It seems to be a stupid question, but I'm stumped...

1. CCK version: 5.x-1.6-1
2. imagefield version: 5.x-2.0-rc6
3. permissions for your tmp and files directory: full (Windows), Status report is fine
4. download method (public or private files): public
5. imagefield configuration: not sure what to say here, doesn't seem to matter
6. expected results: get some kind of upload mechanism when creating a node with an imagefield
7. the unexpected actual results: only an 'image' fieldset with the text "You can only attach images to this field. Delete an image if you wish to be able to upload different images." and the usual Title/Body fields but nothing else.
8. Steps to reproduce the problem: download, install, create content type, add imagefield, create new node...

I tried enabling the Upload module, which lets me add attachments, but no luck as far as imagefield is concerned.

I get some JavaScript errors in Firefox, but it doesn't work in IE, either. There is a fallback mechanism, just in case JS doesn't work, isn't there? I tried turning JS off (with NoScript), and it didn't make a difference (except disabling the fieldset collapse/expand mechanism).

Yep, I'm having exactly the same problem. Same text, no way to upload a file.

In my case, I had the 1.2 version and then updated to 2.0rc6 (this is a non-production site). Nodes that already had an image in that field displayed the original image along with the text; newly-created nodes had only the text and no way to upload an image. Pictures attached.

Sorry, realized this is basically a duplicate of #234876. Can't wait for that next RC... salvis, see the other post for a workaround: multiple images checked, max 1.
