It seems that images are not moved from my temp folder to their final destination.
Using:
ImageField 5.x-2.0-rc2
Drupal 5.6
debian etch - also tried localhost with Ubuntu Gutsy
Apache 2
PHP5 w. GD
Files are placed in my tmp folder, but nothing happens from there.
I tried changing the path to the files folder, didn't help.
I tried using HEAD version, no luck either.
Apache error logs show nothing.
I searched the bug reports, but couldn't find a solution - any help with troubleshooting this would be extremely welcome.
I know this sounds like a duplicate bug, but none of the previous solutions helped.
thanks

markedmunds commentedHi RobotJox,
Does the behaviour change depending on whether you click upload and then submit or just submit? I raised http://drupal.org/node/215873 where the images are not being attached to the node correctly if I first upload the image so I can see the thumbnail. If I just browse for the image and then miss the upload step and go straight for the submit button it works. It is an intermittent problem for me as enabling trace makes the issue go away and I only suffer the issue with FF and not IE. Note - when the problem occurs, I get the same behaviour as the images are just being left in the /tmp directory.

Mark Edmunds

robotjox commentedHello Mark,
thanks for your comment - and you're absolutely right.
The picture DOES get uploaded when I just click submit - it's the upload-ajax thingy that's preventing the upload (!).
But it does not seem to be working on IE6 or IE7 either though...
I'll mark my bug as a duplicate for now. Thanks!
Morten
