Hi there,
I have a bug with the imagefield module.
I developped my drupal website in my localhost, all is ok, but, when I tried tu put it online. the imagefield didn't work anymore.
The file path of drupal and the image path of imagefield are configured on the online website and I put write right to the file and file/images folders.
When I want to upload an image with the image module, it show an error message saying : "image is required."
Anybody know how to fix that ?
Thanks
Zmove

quicksketchCan you upload files using the upload.module (attachments)? Maybe your files directory permissions are set incorrectly.

zmove commentedHi, and thanks for your answer.
The upload module don't work, It cant upload, so I think it's a server configuration problem.
But The CHMOD on the file upload folder is set to "777" So I don't know what to do to else to allow upload.

quicksketchCheck the subdirectories also. If a subdirectory exists and you're trying to upload to it, you might not have the correct permissions there. To test fully, empty out your files directory and try again.
You can also use this command to chmod everything in your files directory:

zmove commentedHi,
I already put chmod to file directory and all subdirectory in it. I forget to mention it in my previous post so excuse me.
And my problem is still here, even with all file directory and subdirectory with a chmod of 777.
I tried your FTP command, filezilla answer me : 500 CHMOD not understood. But as all my subdirectory have 777 chmod I think it's good.
It is possible that a php configuration block the upload. I can ask to my host to verify settings but I don't know what to ask to him. (I already know that file_upload is set On and the file limit is 4MB) and I try to upload a jpeg file of 5 kb.
