Hi,
I have installed CCK version 2.9 and imagefield version 3.9 for drupal 6.
I have set the maximum resolution to 180x135 pixels and the maximum memory size to no(8mb) limits.
and when i tried to install images of resolution like say 3000x2500 pixels and 1 to 2mb of size then i get an error "An HTTP error 0 occurred.
/filefield/ahah/robot/field_c/0"
But when i upload images of resolution 1600x1200 then they get uploaded without any problem and also get sclaed to the given dimensions.
need urgent help with this

quicksketchYou need to increase the amount of memory available to PHP in your php.ini file. A 3000x2500 pixel image needs AT LEAST the following amount of memory:
3000 * 2500 = 7500000 pixels total
7500000 pixels * 4 bytes per pixel (RGBa) = 30000000 bytes == 28.6MB of memory
So you need 28.6 MB of memory *just to read the image into memory*. You then need about double that to actually perform manipulations on the image like resize. So almost certainly you need to incread the memory_limit setting in PHP.ini (this is different than max_upload_size). For most Drupal sites I set this at 128M to allow plenty of room for resizing in addition to the normal requirement of Drupal (which is usually around 32M by itself).
