Upon running git clone --branch 6.x-3.x http://git.drupal.org/project/imagefield.git I found there was nothing in imagefiled directory.

Thus far only imagefield and filefield have had this issue; all other modules worked as expected.

Not sure why the git migration didn't make an empty 3.x branch (or more accurately, I'm not sure why it made a 3.x branch at all). Just check out master (without the --branch 6.x-3.x) and that works fine. I'll look into how to delete the 3.x branch.

Well doesn't look like deleting 3.x would be a good idea, so instead I moved the code from master into 3.x. Code should follow the git instructions tab now.
