This module has been working great for me for a long time and I really appreciate it!
Then, suddenly, I upload images to the image title field, they show up at first view of the node and then they disappear! Some very old nodes (over a year old) still have their image titles, but other nodes have lost them. I looked inside the directory they're supposed to be in, and it is almost empty. It's as if the upload directory is corrupted.
Has this happened to anyone else? Any solutions? I'd hate to think all of those files are gone forever...

It worked for a while then all of the images disappeared again.
I disabled and uninstalled the module, then reinstalled the module and created a new directory for the files to go to, in case it was some kind of corrupted file system or corrupted database issue.
I spent hours yesterday re-uploading the image titles.
They are again gone. The directory the files are supposed to be in is again empty. What could be causing this?
