When I go to create a new gallery within the gallery remote java app, the server chugs away and then comes back with the "no gallery at this url" error message. However, you can then see from within drupal that it in fact has created two galleries with the same name.

You mean creating a new album, right?

Can you post the (relevant) debug output of Gallery_Remote_Debug?

verified. Relevant output from Gallery_Remote_Debug:

<b>Fatal error</b>:  Call to undefined function:  array2object() in <b>/home/example/public_html/sites/example.com/modules/image_pub/image_pub.module</b> on line <b>203</b><br />
 318185|INFO |GalComm2 |Request failed the first time: trying again...

Corresponding lines from image_pub.module:

  $term = taxonomy_save_term($edit);
  if (isset($term)) {
    return array2object($term);
  }
  return NULL;
}

I've updated the array2object (as well as an object2array which would have been triggered with a move album) call to a cast. These were both Drupal 4.6-isms that had yet to be updated.

However, there's another problem with a call to _image_pub_get_albname($term) in function _image_pub_gr_add_album if there are any taxonomy terms in use. I have no idea what that call was supposed to be going to in the first place, as I can't find any reference to its declaration. Seems like this should have been broken in even the original version of image_pub samr announced.

yes, I meant album. you say tomato..

anyways yes, I remember that this bug happened also in 4.6, it's not new.

thanks for the work on this, I've been hoping someone would make this useful for 4.7!

You can try the latest cvs build. In the interest of just getting it to work, I simply commented out the two taxonomy-related lines that were hanging things up.
