Image import does all its nitty griity fine, exept that it fails to get the images resized. So I am stuck with 1+Meg thumbnails and so :)
I am not sure if it is a bug, it might be my configuration. However, in the code, I found one refernce to resizing, but it seems nothing really happens there,
The persmissions seem correct. All my uploaded files go trough webdav, thus are owned by www-data:www-data
Furthermore, I cannot find any oddities in the error.log
I use imagemagic, when I insert images by adding a single image node, it all works like a breeze.
we ar etalking 4.6.3 here.
Do you need any more info? Is this feature simply not there? if so, can you hint me, where i should add it?

syscrusher commentedHi, Ber
Sorry you're having trouble with the module. Have you tried going into the module's admin page and turning on the debug mode? You'll get copious amounts of diagnostic data that way.
Please try running that way, with a small number (half a dozen or so) images, and paste in the debug log here, and I'll see if I can help.
Kind regards,
Scott

Bèr Kessels commentedHi,
So, it seems it all is fine & dandy. Though the resize just fails.

Bèr Kessels commentedHey, this is very strange. It now worked..... I am looking what made it fail the first time. It shure is not just coincidence...
Bèr Kessels commentedI have found it...
The files i tried to import came from a cdrom, thus were r--r-----. My webdav copied these file permissions, thus Drupal/php/apache could only read the file.
I am adding this as a todo to my file system project: "develop a proper, low level message system". A system that at least warns Drupal about such issues.

syscrusher commentedBer,
I'm glad you got it working, but I think I still need to have a look at the code. The debug message "access check succeeded" is supposed to indicate that image_import.module checked to make sure the image was writable as well as readable.
Did you have the setting for deleting the import files on, or off? That makes a difference in the file access check.
Thanks for the followup report.

Bèr Kessels commentedSyscrusher,
I had the delete checked, yet I got no errors. I will have a look at this later on, probably only next week.

syscrusher commentedThanks, Ber
As you know, I'm working on the links stuff right now, and on getting this module updated to 4.7, so if it's okay with you, I'll put this one on a lower priority since you've got things working now.
