I have all the signs that its installed correctly but with only a list of images and no slideshow.

I have renamed the file jquery.cycle.min.js from a previous post

I can see the link and options in the gallery's section.

I gave jquery update and have checked the status and all is correct.

I have used the jQuery Cycle Plugin with all transitions - uncompressed (44 KB) file on http://malsup.com/jquery/cycle/download.html

The jquery.cycle.min.js is located in the image_cycle directory. This is set in sites/all/modules

I have tried everything now but still no luck, is their something blindly obvious that I am missing here?

Per INSTALL.txt

2.  Place the jQuery Cycle plugin file in the image_cycle directory and rename
    the file to jquery.cycle.js.

Have you renamed the file to jquery.cycle.js?

Yup I read the text install files and I did try this first, I changed it as the posts on here recommended it.

Do you have firebug? Do you get any sort of error messages in the console?

I'm really not sure what to look for.

mmm weirdly Its started working when I went to check back in firebug as requested. Only thing I can think of is its to do with the cache but the site was cached after every amendment so I am a bit confused as to why its started working all of a sudden..

Well thank you for your help anyway If I figure out what the issue was I will post back here for anyone else to reference.
