Image gallery description duplicated in gallery term pages

Hi,

I'd need some help to get rid of an issue that is bugging me for quite a while: In image galleries, the term description is duplicated in gallery term pages (= galleries), and I can neither get rid of the duplicate, nor the description itself (for testing purposes).

Image galleries are built with the View 'image_gallery_terms'; the defaults of this view include the term description. The views attachment includes the term, and the term id. I have really no idea where the duplicate comes from.

If I exclude the term discription from the defaults display, I'm still getting the duplicate description (yes, after clearing the Views cache).

PS: Maybe this is relevant: I'm redirecting the 'image gallery' vocabulary with 'taxonomy_redirect' to the path galerie/term/!tid.
