solved by removing lines 105-107 from ife.settings.inc

  if (module_exists('i18n') && $variables = variable_get('i18n_variables', 0)) {
    i18n_form_alter_settings($form, $variables);
  }

error occurs becouse the function i18n_form_alter_settings doesnt exist anymore in d7 version of i18 module.

hi, I am trying to troubleshoot why my custom multilingual variable is not identified as such on a form and came to the point that I cannot understand what replaced i18n_form_alter_settings function in D7.
I am searching for "This is a multilingual variable" and cannot find it either to find some leads.
Anyone can help?
