The most obvious implementation is to add the field "exchange" to node. It also needs permissions.

are you saying to make the transact an api (cck) field (pay me 1 eco button at the bottom of a blog post too)?

i guess i am again confused with ""the "exchange" is a word for "group"" issue :p

Yes, exchange is where the trade take place (Like stock exchange). The group if you want.
