ei, would admin keep a copy of the deleted transaction for some time?

Not now, but the abstract transaction workflow supports this feature, so we could easily adopt if we found it interesting. Why do you ask for it?
I think that a full log of deleted transactions (as well as other critical operations) accessible for the admin is preferable.

i ask for it in case of tracing or recovering a hijacked user session, but if that could be done through server sysadmin magic and activities (at least email change) notifications for the user, maybe is better than with code for the admin,
they can always still users mail access.. so, never mind too much
