Hi

I want to use http parallel request & threading together with the boost / boost crawler module. As soon I enabled the http parallel request & threading module I get these warnings:

  • Warning: get_headers() [function.get-headers]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration in httprl_build_url_self()
  • Warning: get_headers() [function.get-headers]: This function may only be used against URLs. in httprl_build_url_self()

As understand the problem is that in the PHP Server configuration allow_url_fopen=OFF. Is this correct?
As I understand it is a security risk to turn allow_url_fopen=ON.

Therefore my question: Does "http parallel request & threading" require allow_url_fopen=ON or can this somehow be avoided?

Hi

Can nobody say whether it is required to set allow_url_fopen=ON in order to make HTTP Parallel Request work, or not?
