The dropdown menu will be much easier to read if the status codes were in the front. After all, we say "404 Not Found" as opposed to "Not Found 404". If the numbers are in the front, one can open the select menu and use the keyboard to quickly select the status codes without the need for knowing the actual text for the status code. So, it improves keyboard navigability as well.
