Support integration with Pathologic

Yes, if there is an api for Pathologic or is workable i will include this in the next release.

I'm the Pathologic guy. I was contacted by boabjohn about this.

I'm not really familiar with this module (and to tell the truth, I'm one of those luddites who absolutely despises HTML in email), so I'm not sure how it works, but does it pass content through an input format before emailing it? If so, "integrating" with Pathologic should be as easy as setting up an input format which uses the Pathologic input filter and using that format for outgoing email.

Pathologic isn't really built to work as anything other than an input filter (there's no API to speak of), so I'm not sure how it could work otherwise without doing silly things.

Nothing additional is necessary for Pathologic to work with the HTML Mail module. As Garrett stated above, the key to getting the two modules to work together is to ensure that the Pathologic input filter is applied to whatever input format is being used. I am using the "Simple News" module along with the "HTML Mail" module to send out newsletters as HTML. I added the Pathologic input filter to the input format I use and all URL's are converted from relative-to-absolute. Because I use a WYSIWYG editor, I did need to modify Pathologics configuration, but this is covered in the Pathologic documentation at http://drupal.org/node/257026.
