Can anybody please help me? I installed html area wysiwyg editor and decided it wasn't for me, ok now the problem is I can't get rid of it!!!!
I have removed every installed component, deactivated everything remotely related, flushed cache, etc. and the thing just wont go away!
I have tested it from other computers and it is not just something which is stuck in mine. I have tried several browsers: same result.
Where it offends most is in the "add comment" area. A couple of users have not added comments because the field is full of gobbldy-gook, eg:

Does installing this Mod alter database tables, or modify files? Am I possibly overlooking something obvious?

By deleting the htmlarea module directory all this code will be removed.

Try clearing the cache.
