when i enable html area and lace all the files in misc/htmlarea, then load a page in drupal with a textarea, i get the following erros:
error [create select]
can't find the requested dropdown definition
fixme: unknown toolbar item:b
....
and it cycles through each toolbar item - maybe 25 javascript error popups.

gordon commentedThe configuration format for the toolbar has been changed, and the original versions didn't check see which version it was. go to the settings and reset the configuration for the toolbar, and it will be fixed.
You can also upgrade to the latest cvs which does some basic check and resets if it things the toolbar configuration is the old format

DJoh commentedFor me that didn't resolve the issue (I went through htmlarea's settings and clicked "Reset to Defaults" & "Save Config" on each tab).
Worked fine until I started re-enabling htmlarea plugins.
Disabling the "HTMLtidy" plugin eliminated the errors.
