Hover_preview and (Imagefield's) Insert -> hover presets don't appear in imagecache list [#1156984]

In Insert's "Enabled insert styles:" , the list contains nearly all imagecache presets, except the hover_preview ones (hover: ...).

This preset list, when viewed/used in Views, Node display fields, etc, - does contain the hover-preview-imagecache-presets. I reproduced this problem on another drupal 6.x website. I tried insert-1.0 and insert-1.x, and also the 2 versions of hover_preview. So it sounds quite structural.

I'd love it when this could be resolved, making insert & imagecache & hover_preview together even more powerfull...

yeah... why are not there? strange...
I was wanting to change some colorbox insert presets to hover preview... and surprise.. I can't see the presets there in the Insert configurations.

Marking as a feature request, and per the drupal.org description this is not major as it does not impact the base functionality of the module. This is a request to integrate hover_preview with a third-party module.

I am not using this module with insert, so I have no plans to write the code to integrate it. If you or someone else comes up with a patch, you are welcome to submit it here and if tested I'd be happy to commit it.

Hi,
I just wrote a sub module that allows integration with the insert module (see attached file).
For now it's doing only the preview function (no replacement). It's not using hover_preview's code (just creating an <img> tag with the appropriate classes) so it should be easy to integrate.
Would be great if this module could be integrated with hover preview distrib. I did that as a separate module so I don't have to hack your code to add the feature, feel free to integrate if you prefer to.
