How about add makefile support to the current upload feature? Can't be too hard: just examine the file for upload, check if we deal with a makefile.

That would make sense: after all, this module is to prevent backend access for admin-tasks like add a platform.

You can already specify a remote makefile when creating a platform in core Aegir.
