This module creates a field for the user. You can configure the default value there:

go to http://example.com/admin/config/people/accounts/fields/field_hide_profile

on your site and edit it.

The path does not exist and there is no field "field_hide_profile"
In the configuration, the redirect does not work either.
Maybe time to retire this module?
