Overview
This module allows site admins to hide languages from end-users. As opposed to disabling language content editors still, can translate content to that language. It's useful if you don't have the entire website translated.
Features
- Users that don't have access to view page in hidden language see access denied page (403).
- Removes hidden language from links to switch language.
- Supports Views module.
- Supports Language Hierarchy module.
Requirements
- Locale module from Drupal core.
Installation and configuration
- Install Hidden Language (hidden_language) module as usual.
- Go to languages overview page at "admin/config/regional/language".
- Select languages that you would like to hide.
- Set up permissions for users that should access hidden languages.
