This project has been abandoned for two reasons:
1) It was created around the idea of a hexadecimal color, but it makes more sense to have a module built around the idea of a color, with built-in hexadecimal handling of that color. As such, the Color API module was created, with this module abandoned as such.
2) In a moment of stupidity, I spelled 'hexadecimal' wrong throughout the entire module.
If you need a color field (or entity), please look at the Color API module.
