I am trying to integrate the module facebook-style statuses with heartbeat. I can't seem to get the status to appear in the heartbeat listing. I have created the necessary heartbeat message and for the rules, I have used the event: User adds or updates a status and the action Logs user activity for single users. Has anyone else tried integrating facebook style statuses with heartbeat? I would like to use the shout submodule but it doesn't contain certain features I need such as cross-posting to twitter.

Hi, I'm the maintainer of Facebook-style Statuses.

FBSS is currently extremely stable... except for Rules integration. I improved the Rules integration in the latest development build, but much of it is still broken, and you're probably experiencing a symptom of that. The broken Rules integration is the only thing holding up the 2.0 release at this point, so I'm going to try to fix it as soon as possible. If you know anyone that could help, please ask them to post a patch in the FBSS queue!
