I don't know if this is a Views/Calendar/Date bug or something in your g.d.o configuration or the specific views on g.d.o, but I'm noticing that the "Day" view calendar does not show all the events that are shown in the "Month" and "Week" views. (Apologies if I've reported this to the wrong project.)

For instance, I go to
http://groups.drupal.org/events
and filter to "user group meetings" for April. On April 19th, there are 5 events shown, but when I click on the "19" to take me to the day view, I only see 4 of those events on that page -- this one is missing April Drupal User Group Meeting. The Month and Week views do have this event, just not the Day view.

I found a similar problem on April 11th -- 6 events are shown in Month/Week views, but only 5 in Day view (the DrupalCon Portland planning meeting is missing).

Coincidentally, both missing events that I noticed are in groups I am subscribed to, and both are late in the evening and being held in my time zone (I am in US/Pacific time zone if that makes a difference)... but I looked on adjacent days to see if it was just a time zone problem, and they are not showing on those days either. I suspect that if Views/Calendar/Date can put an event on the right date in Month/Week view, that probably there's a bad filter in the Day view that is kicking those events off that page, but I'm not sure.

I am having the exact same issue.

Notice three events listed for April 14 - then click on 14 - only two are listed (the last one is omitted).

I built this site and just discovered this issue. I've triple-checked everything in the view and there must be a bug in the calendar or date module causing this issue.

Can someone please check this. I see this as critical.

Given that #1 is reporting an error on a site that isn't groups.drupal.org, it seems like this is a Calendar issue, not a groups.drupal.org-specific issue.

This sounds like a dupe of #1408216: Events no longer appearing in calendar, where I did commit a working fix.
Can someone confirm what version of Date g.d.o is using?

Karen had some questions about if the fix I applied at #1408216-62: Events no longer appearing in calendar might cause other errors, but I have not seem any problems.
#1408216-63: Events no longer appearing in calendar has more relevant information.

It seems like *mostly* a duplicate of that other issue, but on groups.drupal.org, the events are not showing up on the wrong day as reported there -- they're just not showing up at all as far as I can tell.

Hmmm, I never noticed the wrong day thing.
In my case, they were not showing up at all either, which I think got fixed.

P.S. I don't think this is a problem in D7, so maybe we could 'just' upgrade g.d.o to D7 to fix all our problems? ;-)

GDO is currently running Date API 6.x-2.8 and Calendar module 6.x-2.4.

OK, I'm convinced this is a duplicate of
#1408216: Events no longer appearing in calendar since arlinsandbulte says that the "not showing up at all" issue got fixed on that other issue.

So all we need is a new release of Calendar, and then for g.d.o to get upgraded to it. I'll move this issue to Infrastructure then.

Note: I just pushed a 6.x-2.9 release out (my first ever 'release,' and on my birthday, no less!)
I hope this is a good day.

I would wait a few days at least before deploying on g.d.o
I'll report back here if there are any concerns.

At the moment, the only development done on groups.drupal.org is the migration on drupal.org. Once the migration is done, new modules will be deployed on drupal.org, if necessary.
