HI, I need a function to get parent group when creating a node under it. How can I get the parent group by this node?

I have the following tree:

Continent (group)
Country (subgroup of Continent)
Town (subgroup of Country)

Each town belongs to one country, each country belongs to one continent.

For navigation purposes I want to display the country name (=parent group name) on each town group and I want to display the continent name (parent group name) on each country group.

I wanted to do this using views but after many tries I try here now.

How can I get the name of a parent group in a view? Or what other ways are there to make this group structure better to navigate through?
