I am getting the following error on my site whenever I use the Gratis theme.

Notice: Undefined index: #item in include() (line 54 of /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxxx/sites/all/themes/gratis/templates/field--field_image.tpl.php).

I looked at that line and found

<?php if ($item['#item']['alt']): ?>
    <figcaption><?php print $item['#item']['alt']; ?></figcaption>
  <?php endif; ?>

So I tried dboth enabling and disabling alt tags and titles in field settings but no luck :(

Any thoughts?

Hi, I spun up a fresh instance of Gratis 2.7 on simplytest.me with errors enabled and I was not able to reproduce this. I tried with alt tag empty and filled.

Issue is still happening: d7.52 + Gratis 7.x-2.10.

Happens as soon as a node's Text format is set to Full HTML and the node is saved.
Also happens when node is rendered (sometimes). Happens when logged in as admin and editing the node or when viewing node (both teaser or full view) as anonymous.

The node's content type in my case is:
