I can't actually get the example on that page to work, but as far as I am aware, this is the only available open-source flash front end for graphviz, which would be a huge boon, if we could get it working. I will have a poke around with it, but no promises, since I have no idea how it works yet.

infojunkieThat's me a year ago trying to make it work: http://www.markandrewgoetz.com/vizierfx/?q=content/generic-vizierfx-cont...

naught101 commentedinfojunkie: Was it worth it? Would you be interested in getting this functionality into the module? I have (as yet) almost zero experience with flex/flash/etc. So I'm not in a great position to judge based on first glance.

infojunkie@naught101: I don't think it's worth it at this time. VizierFX is a neat idea but it's not maintained. And I think it lacked a couple of features to make it truly useful for Graphviz Filter - although I can't remember what right now. The communication with Drupal did work, though, with the wrapper I posted over there.

naught101 commentedLet's broaden the scope here a bit. I really want to get a flash based graphing front-end working. There's some sexy looking stuff at http://flare.prefuse.org/demo
Also, there's a list at http://www.wikiviz.org/wiki/Tools of other tools
I haven't had time to look into this seriously yet, but I will as soon as there's a stable release of the relation.module. I'll also be replacing graphviz_noderef with some form of graphviz_relation module.
