Hi, I have a google account which is linked to several Analytics accounts. Each analytics account is linked to several profiles.

  • My main google account.
    • Customer ABC
      • profile abc.com
      • profile abc.ca
    • Customer DEF
      • profile def.com
      • profile def-products.com
    • Customer YXZ
      • profile xyz.com
      • profile xyz-europe.com

When I grant access to Google Analytics API, only certain profiles are listed:

  • profile abc.com
  • profile abc.ca
  • profile xyz.com
  • profile xyz-europe.com

All profiles in DEF are missing, and I can't figure out why. In fact, I can't find anything differentiating DEF from my other accounts. All accounts are owned by me. I read some of Google's documentation but can't find a solution there either.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Albert.

Hi again,

From the lack of responses to this issue I seem to be the only one experiencing this... Anyhow, here's a quick fix if this problem affects anyone:

Say you have a site example.com, and that profile is not listed in your google analytics api settings page, do this:

  • Create a brand new google account
  • Go to your current google account and in the example.com profile, go to manage users and grant access to your new google account
  • Log out of your existing google account
  • Log into your new account
  • Go to your website's google analytics api settings page and now you'll see example.com listed

Still, if anyone has an explanation for this I'd be interested. I won't mark it as fixed because the profiles in the original should be visible, I think.

Version: 6.x-1.0-alpha1 » 6.x-1.x-dev

We've changed authentication to OAuth, added support for Google Apps for Business, and upped the profiles allowed to 1,000 (from 20). Please test with 6x-dev and let us know.
