I enabled the module (all dependencies installed) and when I hit the "Grant access to a Google account" button, I get taken to a blank page with only the "Grant access" and "Deny access" buttons. (This may be normal.)

When I hit "Grant access," the server throws the error I've listed below. Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi bcobin,

The page you saw was coming from the test module, in the function:

/**
 * Menu callback; Google Account AuthSub authentication request.
 */
function google_analytics_api_test_accounts_authsub_request() {
...
  $output = '';
  $output .= '<form action="' . $action . '" method="post">';
  $output .= '<input type="hidden" name="sec_tok" value="' . $_SESSION['sec_tok'] .  '" />';
  $output .= '<input type="submit" name="allow" value="Grant access" />';
  $output .= '<input type="submit" name="deny" value="Deny access" />';
  $output .= '</form>';
  exit($output);
}

This is only meant to be used and the test module is only meant to be enabled when running the SimpleTest test suite. I have modified the test module to be hidden so that this doesn't happen by accident in other cases, as I can see how it might be confusing.

Just disable the test module and it should work. If not, feel free to re-open.

Hope that helps!

Thanks, jkitching - that did the trick. Just to clarify further, it's the Dummy Test Server that needs to be disabled, as opposed to Simpletest. Could be confusing insofar as the Dummy Test Module doesn't appear next to the API module on the modules page.

I also see that this is simply an API and doesn't in and of itself doesn't display any information, but, rather, makes the information available via Drupal to module developers. Thanks for the hard work and quick feedback - I see the threads on this and am looking forward to making this functionality available to my clients - thanks a ton!

You May also get this error if you have not installed and enabled php cURL on your server. If you are running a debian based server then run this command in a terminal and it should install the necessary components for you sudo apt-get install curl libcurl3 libcurl3-dev php5-curl.
