I really like how you've implemented the stats tab for nodes. That said, here are two small nit-picks that I think will help make it even better:

- "ga statistics" should be renamed to simply "statistics". "ga" is shortform and will not be clear to people. Also, in many cases user will not even know or care where the stats come from. "statistics" is my preferred name.
- The tab should be placed to the right of edit. As far as I can see, this is the convention that all other modules use.

I have renamed it to simply be Statistics, and changed the weight to be after the Edit tab. I am slightly worried about namespace issues though, as I am sure another module exists that provides the same tab name...

Also I understand it might make sense to make the source of the statistics not known to the user, however I am torn between that and having a strong branding for Google Analytics, which is really what makes this different from the regular statistics modules for Drupal. Any thoughts on this?
