It's hard to find good help these days.

This module provides a feature that facilitates the management of Help content in a D7 site, to be served up via a RESTful server. This facilitates central management of help content that can be updated off-cycle from software deployments.

What is this Help Feature?

The Help content type's killer feature is fairly straightforward.

  1. A "topic id" that can be passed in to request content on a particular subject, rather like pinging Wikipedia for a given subject.
  2. A "version id" that will tell Good Help to look for content with a particular tag before falling back to generic topic content.

Participating in Help

If you are interested helping build an improved Help system for Drupal 8, please check out the efforts of the Documentation team.

On the other hand, if you want to help assemble something for more immediate use, feel free to pitch in. I'm especially interested in anything that aligns this module with the Doc team's plans.
