After trying a long time I could manage to get a google map displayed on the page, but only centering at default position. There is marker missing that points to cck-stored adress information.
When going over the documentation (Image) I can find no field in view called "Marker Option: map data - point".
I just get only this options like here.
What did I did wrong?

Is it really the only way to get displayed a google map on a node view by using panels + loading google maps styled view in a pane, sending node-ID as argument to view?

Has anybody an idea for this?

Thanks in advance,
Ralf

The name of the required field follows this pattern: Marker option: My CCK field title (My CCK field name) - Point option.

In your case, you should choose the field: Marker option: Location (field_individual_location) - Point option.

Node view:
- you can use panels
- you can you the viewfiled module
- you can display the view as a block (no "wrapper" needed)

Hello xmarket,
thanks for your answer!
I can get no marker-option for our cck-field called "GMaps Adresse (field_gmaps)" (see screenshot attached)
Marker Option "Marker option: Link option - Node" does not do the job...

Could this have something to do with error message "Argument #2 is not an array"?

    * warning: array_merge_recursive() [function.array-merge-recursive]: Argument #2 is not an array in /opt/drupal6-modules/gmaps/gmaps.module on line 903.

Do you have the field on the node type?
Sometimes CCK misses gmaps' fields.... If this is the case, then try to clear your caches. If this doesn't help, then add a dummy field (text field f.e.) and delete it. If you have the CCK field, then you should have views fields too.

No - I haven't :-(
I tried submitting a dummy field, deleted it and flushed on and on cache.
Could this have something to do with error message "Argument #2 is not an array"?
Any Ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Ralf

Do you have the views field finally?

error message: I changed the code and it will be available in the next commit.
