Is this module still in development, and if not, has it been completely abandoned? I would like to use Glossify on my new site, but am concerned that there will be no bug fixes or security patches issued. If the module is stable, which version is better to use (the 2.x branch or the new 3.0 beta-9?).

i know this is old, but the module has new life with a new maintainer. ;-)
