Modify content or redirect http://git.drupal.org to be more effective [#1089800]

Under issue http://drupal.org/node/1066960 several links to http://git.drupal.org were deleted, however, the link is still live and might be cross-linked elsewhere on D.O. How about we alter the text as per milkmiruku:
"Might it be possible to clarify the http://git.drupal.org/ message with a note stating that one should be using git://git.drupal.org/project/drupal.git with git? And/or a link to the main Drupal Git documentation?"

Or rather a complete redirect to : http://drupalcode.org/project/drupal.git ?
