theresab commentedOK update to this. When I realized that this was using flash I went to adobe.coma nd updated the flash player and now I do see the Social Network box.
Would there be a way to tell a user that they need to update the flash player should they experience this, like on other flash sites?

japerryI think this is outside the scope of the project, and should be handled by the flash component itself. The gigya module does a call to the gigya API to display components, and does not know if the components are flash or not.
I'll make a note for gigya to look into this so their flash components can render a warning for out of date players.

theresab commentedFrom what I see the flash component is part of gigya as I did not added it and when you right click on the default box of icons for logging in through the social networks you get the flash menu. Once more, I do not have nay flash modules installed at all on this site and have not altered the code and I am only using the default settings of the gigya module.

Gigya commentedGigya's solution in general require the user to have flash enabled, otherwise nothing works.
Our Core is implemented in Flash so even if the buttons for the login would show somehow the process of authenticating will not do anything.
According to our information, 98% of internet users have flash installed. those who don't are probably not a classic Social Network user so I'm not sure this is relevant for them.
As for alerting the user that he needs to download/install flash, that should automatically show and is an issue with flash itself.
