Since the latest update of Geofield I'm getting an error: "POINT (XXXX YYYY)" is not a valid geospatial content.

I've read that the latest version doesn't need the GeoPHP module anymore but the library is now a composer dependency. I contacted my hosting provider, but they can't install composer on the server and say that I have to look for an alternative method.

Can anyone tell me how I can fix this? Thank you.

You don't need composer on the hosting server. Use composer in your local development environment and push files to the live afterwards.
