i'm not entirely sure but $values = geofield_compute_values($item['geom'], $input_format); apparently expects any value to be wrapped within 'geom'.

i have added a quick fix for the lat/lon but didn't check for the others. needs review could also mean needs work :)

The patch fixes the lat/lon generation, WKT generation seems to work fine already
