Based on #1345434: No popups display in panel pane. Popups in a view: assign more than one field. (and hover text is hardcoded to 'test'), currently the popup in views display requires some less intutive magic:

"With Views fields, you can add a custom text field (under Global, I think). Within the custom field, you can add multiple tokens to display. For example, if you wanted to display fields foo and bar in custom field baz, you would use tokens [foo] and [bar] in the custom field. Keep in mind that you need to add both fields before your custom field in order for the tokens to display."

Would be great to just display the fields selected in Views fields.

Thanks for the interest in geofield, @giorgio79. While I hear what you're saying, I think the current implementation works just as well and is a bit more flexible. That being said, I'll definitely look at any submitted patches that address this issue.
