How to change marker in views geofield map style to any custom?

is there a way to use a custom marker instead of the red default marker? see attached.

@jmatuska, currently, there is not a way to change the default markers with the built in map. If you want more control over your map displays, I would recommend using the Openlayers module.

The default marker is a black point, a bit ugly, while openlayer isn't so easy for users to use.

I think we need to let markers to be customized or more beautiful by default.
