Hi,

The module depend to "Content" and "Locale" module. I find "Locale" but why "Content" is needed ?

Locale is a core module.
Content is CCK module: http://drupal.org/project/cck for content managements.
The goal of this module is to be integrated with CCK and each person, family should be a different content type with cck fields.
CCK field could be used first name, surname or day of birthday (with integration with Date module). It could be used everywhere.
If you are not developer and looking for some existing Genealogy solution, this Genmod module is not finished yet. There is only development version available and there are lot of things to do.

I am not a developer but phpgedview user and your project interest me.
I think you can write CCK module in its requirement.
